Returning to cycling

Hi I have just got back onto my bike after two years of non cycling. I stopped after having my boy, but my advice is just because you have given birth doesn't mean you have to give up cycling; Many midwives should be recommending this.

I have been attending spinning classes at my local leisure centre, this is exercise's to music on an exercise bike. There are some good deals to be had at sports centre's, if you are entitled to a discount card (Wise card) in Wiltshire) this can get you even more discounts.

When attending a spinning class, it's a good idea to bring a drink. Lucozade is good but Sainsburys sparkling spring water is even better. At 47p for 1 litre (current price) There is no fat or salt in it. It is also good to bring a small towel to wipe away the sweat, but it's worth it believe me.

My bike is a Dawes Sonaran hybrid, it's not the rolls Royce of cycling, but it gets me where I want to go. As has been said before, cycling is very good for the health and mentality; there's nothing like it.

I'm glad I returned to cycling, my next thing I will be doing is touring. I will also write about different shops, reviewing cycle assessories which I have found interesting and what I hated and liked. Thanks very much for reading.
